The purpose of this group is to network, share ideas, learn more about the nonprofit sector in this area and what's happening nationwide, learn some best practices and about resources, a place to ask questions and get advice. Civitan International is an organization of volunteer service clubs around the world, dedicated to helping people in their own communities. Civitans help wherever the need arises - from collecting food for a homeless shelter, to volunteering at their local retirement home, to building a playground for children with disabilities. Civitans have been helping people since the organization’s founding in 1917, by a group of businessmen determined to making a difference in their community.

Project Dinner Table (PDT) is a platform for people to connect. It’s a place for people to share ideas, enjoy local food, and just be real. 150+ people gather around one very long dinner table and pass the plate family style, over six courses.
