Welcome Orange County Philanthropists and Fundraisers

The Orange County "Givers Gain" Philanthropy Meetup Group has adopted a very worthy cause as its inaugural charity - the Orange County Foundation for Oncology Children and Families or OCF-OCF.

Please go to their website http://www.ocf-ocf.org to read about what the charity is all about. It is, in a nutshell, a "meetup" for children, and families (including siblings) of children with cancer. They raise money to send hundreds of families to a summer camp in the mountains twice a year so that the children can be themselves in an environment that they can feel relaxed in, around friends and family that understand what they are going through as well as anyone can.

Our Inaugural Meetup will be at the OCF-OCF "Tropical Paradise Casino Night" to be held August 23, 2008 in Mission Viejo, CA. Please go to http://www.ocf-ocf.org/events.html for more details and to get your tickets.
